What is your health worth?

Let’s be honest — the road to health is not easy. It simply isn’t. If it was, everyone would be healthy. Before contacting us, I recommend you truly ask yourself what your heath and well being is worth to you.

Do you look at your health as an investment, or an expense?

Are you happy just getting by? Content being sick and popping pills to cover up the symptoms? If so, don’t call me. If your health is important to you, and you are willing to spend the time, effort, and money to finally get and stay healthy, then give us a call.

 Compare & Contrast the Costs

I’ll be honest. Sick care can sometimes be cheaper in the immediate short term by covering up a symptom or condition. But in the long run (3-4 months or more), the cost of continuing on medications, developing new conditions because you didn’t fix the underlying cause, and the downward spiral that often occurs will get very expensive, fast. VERY expensive. Trust me, I’ve been there.

The average cost of using medications to treat chronic conditions is more than 10-20 times what it costs to treat them by finding the root cause. And that is in a period of just 1-2 years. If you have a broken pipe flooding your house, you can either divert the water or fix the pipe. If you wouldn’t even think twice about how to take care of your house or car, why do you do it with your health?

What’s the cost?

Currently, the first visit is $220 for a 60-minute consultation. We will go over all of your history, symptoms, exam findings, what you have done so far, what has helped, what hasn’t, and what we will do about it. Based on our visit and if I will accept you as a client, we will work together to develop a treatment plan that is right for you.

Part of my goal in my practice and on my website is to give you as much information as possible so that you can make an informed decision. That being said, I generally have two types of clients. The first is the wellness client. This client is healthy and looking to stay healthy. Usually this person will only require a couple visits up front and then periodic evaluations based on what their goals are.

The other type of client is on the complete opposite side of the spectrum. They are the client that has been to every other doctor and tried everything (or almost everything) under the sun. This type of client requires a lot more work. I will be straight up with you. This is not an easy task. I do not accept these types of clients for less than four months of treatment; sometimes, up to a year or more. As such, these types of clients will be provided the option of packages for care. I do not take these cases on at a visit-by-visit case. The reason for this is follow-through and results. If you come in and you are worried about what the cost is going to be, you will not follow through. By getting the cost out of the way, we can concentrate on doing what we need to do to get you healthy.

We do not bill insurance for our services, but we will provide you with a “superbill” that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. We will provide you with he necessary ICD 10, CPT and procedure codes to do so. When labs are necessary, we will help you use your insurance benefits to cover them. If you do not have insurance that will cover the necessary labs, we are able to provide you with the wholesale prices since we have direct relationships with various labs. What’s included?

Although our first visit is often 60 minutes, that doesn’t mean my work is over. I often spend an additional 1-2 hours analyzing your history, genetic predisposition, lab results, and other factors to determine what your specific treatment plan should be.

In short, included is:

  • History

  • Exam

  • Physical as needed

  • 1 hour face to face time

  • Laboratory referral

  • Care Plan

  • Up to 2 hours post-visit analysis and plan preparation for 2nd visit review of findings with laboratory analysis

Why so cheap?

The short answer is, because I can!

My personal mission is to bring Integrative Functional Medicine to as many people as I can, and to make is as affordable as I can. I have seen many amazing transformations and I love to see people get well and stay well. I have been a patient with little hope and didn’t know where to go. I know the feeling.

So until my wife or office manager makes me, I’m not raising my prices.

Although, keep in mind, we are a busy office and as we continue to get busier I have to raise my prices so I can hire other people to help with all the work.
