What to expect during your session
Sessions are quick, painless, and require no preparation or recovery time.
During the session - The laser handpiece is applied directly to skin over the target area. You will feel a gentle warmth — some patients feel nothing at all. Completely painless and non-invasive. No burning, no cutting, no downtime.
Session length - A 2-area session takes approximately 10 minutes. A 4-area session takes approximately 20 minutes. Sessions can be added to an HBOT appointment at no additional cost.
What you might feel - Some patients notice immediate relief after their first session. Most experience progressive improvement across their protocol. Occasional mild soreness in the first 24 hours is a normal healing response.
After your session - No recovery time needed — resume normal activities immediately. Stay well hydrated. Avoid NSAIDs before and after sessions as they interfere with the healing signaling laser therapy works with.
⚠Important: Avoid anti-inflammatory medications (NSAIDs like ibuprofen or naproxen) before and after laser sessions. These suppress the very inflammatory signaling pathways that laser therapy works with to promote healing — taking them together reduces effectiveness.
